Scholarship Applications Closed
APALA is committed to bringing on emerging leaders into our movement for the advancement of worker, immigrant, and civil rights therefore we are offering scholarships to those who would not be able to attend convention without financial support. We are looking for folks who would bring the lessons learned back to their communities and would continue building with APALA.
Scholarships may cover full or partial expenses for convention. Scholarship recipients who are awarded hotel scholarships will be required to share rooms, unless medically necessary.
Scholarship recipients are expected to attend a volunteer orientation (1 hour) and volunteer for one four-hour shift during Convention.
Prior to applying for scholarships for convention, we ask that you first ask your chapter and union/organization for funding.
Scholarship applications are closed and applicants should have been notified of their award.
